Two women leave their dead-end jobs in New York and head to Los Angeles, hoping to improve their professional, spiritual and sexual lives.

After a night out, Sam awakes late for work to find Nina cuddling her very tightly; when she leaves, two of Nina's spiritually enlightened friends track her phone to Sam's apartment.

Nina's ex, Zoe, buys her a ticket to Los Angeles in order to meet with a spiritual guru named Bob.

Nina gets fired from her job as a drug dealer after receiving an extremely scathing Yelp review; Sam battles her boss over a series of alterations to her physical appearance.

Once they arrive in LA, Sam and Nina are welcomed by their free spirited landlord, who informs them of the strange rules that come along their tenancy; while Sam intends to follow the rules, Nina convinces her to imbibe, get high, and eat red meat.

After partying irresponsibly the previous night, Nina and Sam head to their spiritual bootcamp in the morning; Nina's phone gets confiscated and buried in the garden.
