Born Wild

Africa and Madagascar, some of the most varied environments on Earth. We will see how animals in the forests, plateaus, wetland deltas and rainforests of this world have adapted and evolved to fit into their homes.

North America is a continent of contrasting extremes, the tundra waste of the Arctic, the temperate rainforests of the Pacific West Coast, and the arid and desolate deserts of the South. We will explore these worlds and see how the lives of the animals there are intimately linked to their survival.

The continents of Central and South America contain an immense range of environmental extremes from the most ecologically productive to the sparsest regions on Earth.
