After a demoralizing night, Doug wakes up in an alley and meets a mysterious stranger named H. She seems to know his whole life story, but she vanishes suddenly as her identical twin, Hannah, appears. Doug and Hannah find common ground and head to the lab.

Doug meets Hannah’s Indigenous uncle, Dr. Randall Slate, who mistakes Doug for a technician. At the lab, the group examines the mysterious hoop H gifted to Doug. It reacts in a spectacular way, spurring a breakthrough in their research.

H visits the Wigwam of Bingo to report her progress to the Council of Aunties. Some show support, while others doubt Hannah and Doug’s abilities. Severon interrupts their meeting to deliver an offer and a warning.

Hannah and Doug attend Lex’s concert, but when her guitarist doesn’t show up, Doug fills in. Meanwhile, Severon visits Dr. Slate, where she offers him a deal in exchange for his completed technology.

Doug plays a drum song for Hannah after the show, but the moment is cut short when a portal opens above their heads. H arrives to put them through a test in the training dimension, but Severon is waiting for them when they arrive at the Wigwam of Bingo.

Doug and Hannah return to the lab, but it’s been destroyed, and the hoop is missing! After finding a clue, Hannah realizes where Dr. Slate might be. With Lex’s help, our heroes race to stop Dr. Slate from completing Severon’s villainous plan.
