Deadman's Curse

The recent glacier expedition leaves Kru rattled and rethinking his approach, but clues left by an Indigenous voice from the past send the entire team north into the wild terrain of the Upper Pitt, leading to the discovery of an artifact possibly left by Slumach himself.

Reports of a jar of gold send Adam and Kru on the trail of missing prospector Volcanic Brown and his last known location. Meanwhile, Don and Taylor investigate a strange marking on the prospector tools found in the Upper Pitt.

Clues revealed in Katzie First Nation history lead the team north, while Kru unearths 100-year-old court documents that shed light on Slumach himself.

Kru finds a tape-recorded interview of a man who claims to have found Slumach's motherlode, and out on the trail, Adam's old rival appears to be a step ahead in his search for the gold.
