Returning to the cyber-punk metropolis Shade after dealing with the meteor storm investigators, Super Intelligence Agent Sterling's superiors ream him out for mishandling the situation; nothing can stop him on his hunt for the Amazingly Bearded Man.

A lethal space battle rages above (and below) the streets of Shade between the Shadow States and the Consortium; the Amazingly Bearded Man joins the fight but threatens to kill the entire population of Shade.
