Following a strictly religious Manchester family who believe the world is about to end. As another week without the paradise of doomsday passes by, Dad David focuses his attentions on an as yet unfilled role as an elder within the church.

David unearths a 1000-year-old rulebook of the Order and uses it to police his family. Fiona is inspired to break against sexist traditions and start her own business when she receives a useful gift, much to David's annoyance.

Rachel meets a supposedly pious girl at church who changes her perspective on dating. Struggling to get Fiona's attention, David gets date ideas from the church's teenage sex education class.

Fiona's frustrations with David lead her eyes to wander down the road to Lycra-loving neighbour Andrew, and David's confession about his 'Tupperware of Sin' doesn't help matters.

Episode 5
David takes Aaron to a caravan for some father-son bonding, but there's no electricity and the only running water is leaking through the ceiling. Fiona hosts a girls' night.

At an annual cross-church party, Aaron waits to be baptised. But his head is turned by one congregation carrying rainbow flags. Fiona and Rachel argue over university.
