EPISODE 1

The Journey Begins

The six travellers begin their journey in the heart of Canada: Winnipeg, Man. Here, they meet with local Indigenous activists and work alongside two community-driven movements – the Bear Clan Patrol and Drag the Red.
EPISODE 2

A Group Divided

The group arrives in Muskrat Dam, a fly-in reserve in northern Ontario. From there, they travel to Maskwacis, Alta., a reserve with a reputation for gangs, crime and a high suicide rate. Attitudes begin to shift as they learn more about Indigenous Peoples.
EPISODE 3

The Road to Healing

The group encounters their biggest challenge yet in Calgary and Edmonton: they learn about life on the street and the experience behind bars. The final stop is Ahousaht First Nation, B.C. After 28 days, their life-changing journey is coming to an end.
EPISODE 1

You Don’t Know Me Until You’ve Met Me

Participants meet two Indigenous families in Ottawa and learn the harsh reality of the Sixties Scoop. Next, the group visits the home of the Oka Crisis before going north to a remote community ravaged by substance abuse and social issues.

Changing the Lens

Several tragic incidents have exposed racist attitudes in Thunder Bay and a participant is profoundly affected. Next, stereotypes are shattered in the thriving Fort William First Nation. Lastly, the group hears raw truths from residential school survivors.
EPISODE 3

Bridging the Divide

A tense meeting takes place between Indigenous communities affected by the death of Colten Boushie, but a visit from his mom brings the groups together. Self-governance in Yukon is eye opening as the six process their life-changing experience.
