Mads, a police detective, is called out to investigate a body washed ashore near a wind farm. At first, it merely looks like an industrial accident.

Claudia’s new job as head of Legal Affairs at Energreen starts with a case about insider trading that can be damaging for the company. Mads and Alf try to find a connection.

Mads and Alf pursue leads to Energreen’s missing traders. Claudia is questioned, but is quickly summoned to Abu Dhabi by Sander.

Mads and Alf interrogate Ulrik, the CFO of Energreen – and catch him in a lie. But while Mads and Alf delve deeper into the company’s secrets, serious developments are taking place in Mads’s life.

Mia is approached by a whistleblower and focuses her energy on finding out the truth about Energreen. Sander and Mr. Christensen worry that Mia’s findings can jeopardize their stock exchange listing.

Mia is critically injured and in the hospital, but her article on Energreen is nonetheless published and puts Energreen’s management on the spot as they are about to visit a number of European cities.
