Ensign Ledo is a pilot in the Galactic Alliance of Humankind, fighting against the Hideauze.

After Chamber wipes out the pirates that were threatening Bellows and her crew, Ledo is perceived as a menace and kept under guard.

Chamber is put to work hauling heavy cargo, but that leaves Ledo on the sidelines on standby.

Amy introduces Ledo to a number of different industries aboard Gargantia to try to help him find a job.

When Gargantia intersects with a Milky Way, there's a fishing bonanza, which also leads to a big festival.
