Rex's little brother Rocky wants to become a Dino Explorer more than anything, and he skips school to go to the GoGo Dino base; he is called back to school, but is delayed by a space storm.

The GoGo Dino Explorers jump in a big river to go swimming; while splashing around, they see something coming towards them: a Dimetrodon.

The Dino Explorers see a Stegosaurus family sunbathing on a hill when, suddenly, the sunshine disappears and a volcano erupts.
