Gilius and Hampton shop for a Rideable Beast for Hampton. Meanwhile, Ax and Tyris are embarrassed by their new teammate.

Gilius and Hampton visit a town where the villagers are suspiciously nice. Meanwhile, Ax, Tyris, and Chronos debate the value of a tragic backstory.

Gilius, Hampton, Ax, and Tyris reunite and fight the Bad Brothers aboard a giant eagle. Meanwhile, Chronos is forced below deck with the Rideable Beasts.

While Gilius fights for his life, Hampton and the Bad Brothers are taken prisoner. Ax, Tyris and Chronos go on a side quest.

Gilius and Hampton discover Hampton's hometown has been attacked by Death Adder. Ax, Tyris and Chronos search for information about the Emerald Blade in a worm-infested library.
