Hooptie World Championship

Six teams and their $5K hoopties compete in a no-holds-barred race on asphalt and dirt, followed by a drag race less than 18 hours later.

Each team has endured the mini-gauntlet and dragstrip, some with disastrous consequences.

We are entering the third event in the series, and the teams are beginning to learn to expect the unexpected.

With the fourth event looming, long nights and limited build times are pushing teams to their limits. But as always, the show must go on.

Entering the penultimate event, camaraderie couldn't be stronger as teams continue to press forward with little regard for their personal well-being.

All teams and drivers must compete in the final challenge, covering dirt, asphalt, drift, off-road hazards, slalom and drag.
