In the Dark

While out for a walk, Murphy stumbles upon what she's sure is the lifeless body of her close friend Tyson; when the police arrive, there is no body, making them reluctant to investigate; Murphy resolves to learn what happened to Tyson.

After Murphy's latest one-night stand calls her mommy, she develops a rather unexpected lead in Tyson's case; Chloe thinks it's time for her father to create a dating profile; Murphy helps Jess pick out a gift for her girlfriend.

Murphy enlists an unwitting Felix to help locate Tyson's girlfriend, Kira; Murphy and Felix take a smoke break under the bleachers and have their first heart-to-heart; Dean does his best to be there for Chloe as she experiences a rite of passage.

Murphy discovers she may not have known Tyson as well as she had thought; it's puppy graduation day at Guiding Hope, and one of the fosters has a hard time letting go.

Jess reluctantly agrees to let Murphy go alone with Max on a day trip; Murphy has flashbacks of memories of Tyson; Jess and Joy realize they may have more in common than they thought.

Murphy, unable to deal with things, begins to push everyone away, including Max; Murphy and Jess have a heart-to-heart.
