In episode one we meet the Hills, the Rudges, The McCabes and the Porters. Through the Hills we see the realisation and heartache of not being able to conceive a child naturally. The McCabes and the Porters tackle the lack of explanation as to why they can't get pregnant. And for the Rudges, with a history of health issues, we see them begin their fertility treatment.

This week we are joined by The Bennetts. Five year veterans of the struggle to conceive. We witness the Hills, and the Rudges as they ready themselves for egg collection and keep abreast of the Porters with their ongoing challenges. This journey is a never ending cycle of decision making and determination - at what cost?

As our couples continue to tackle their fertility issues head on, we meet the Lucas's. The Lucas's have been trying for the ultimate success of a healthy child for the past six years. The reality of IVF is clear and our couples remain cautiously optimist.

This week we continue the story of the Porters, Bennetts, Lucas's and the McCabes. And we meet the Fatai's, a couple who after 18 years together, long to start a family. Natalie Lucas, is determined to work at losing weight and the McCabes receive some shock news. Determination and resilience keeps all of our couples on their fertility pathways.

We see the determination that is required with every step of the IVF process. Rochelle and Raymond face difficult choices - as Rochelle's mother is very sick. And we meet the Taylors who have two frozen embryo's they'd like to transfer in the hope of completing their family. After two successful transfers five years earlier, its now or never for this couple.

Its an emotional conclusion of the series, we witness joy and heartbreak. We also meet Lhara, an egg donor who tells us what motivates her to help others. The pathway of life is never predictable and in this final episode we are reminded through the stories of our couples, the Fatai's, the Taylors, the McCabes, the Porters, the Lucas' and the Bennetts.
