Montreal, 1945. Back in civilian life, Jean Thibault—aka IXE-13—faces a new threat. While celebrating the wedding of his friend Roxane Racicot, a Russian spy arrives at his hotel and warns him that the West is in danger.There is allegedly a vast Soviet spy ring in Quebec searching for uranium to build an atomic bomb. Is he bluffing? That same night, someone close to Jean is the victim of an attack. A coincidence? Or a real threat?

At Victor's request, and to protect a loved one, Jean must return to duty. Roxane and Marius, equally haunted by their pasts as spies, assist him in his mission. Soon, Roxane will make some shattering discoveries. Meanwhile, Rick Gallaher, a former Canadian soldier turned Nazi and accused of war crimes, decides to eliminate Jean—the only person who can testify against him and prevent him from getting his hands on the uranium.

Jean and his team must seize the uranium before the Russians do, no matter the cost. Capturing Elisabeth Linton is their best strategy to achieve their goals, but the mission forces Jean to confront his old demons. An initial surveillance operation goes sideways, sending shockwaves through the quartet. Vengeance then becomes their driving force. Determined to uncover the truth about the Crystal Hotel and its owner, Gisèle pursues her investigation at her own peril.

Jean recruits Gisèle into his team and entrusts her with the mission of making contact with Rick Gallaher. Is he throwing her into the lion's den? Meanwhile, the quartet attempts to extract information from the captured Elisabeth Linton. Their investigation grows more complex, forcing them to confront their deepest wounds. Confident that Gisèle’s article will clear him of all suspicion, Gallaher pays Jean a visit and has a major surprise in store for him.

The situation is dire for Jean and his team: Elisabeth has escaped, and Gallaher is planning a major strike. Prime Minister Mackenzie issues an ultimatum to Victor: they have until midnight to find the uranium, or the mission will be stripped from them and handed over to the military police. They must strike hard and strike now. Will they make it in time? More united than ever, how far are they willing to go to reclaim the uranium? Gallaher creates a total shock by asking for Gisèle’s hand in marriage.

Weakened, Jean causes concern when he shares some terrible news with his team. Gallaher tightens his grip on Gisèle. With the uranium in his possession, he intends to seize power this very night. Jean must stop him before he does the irreparable. But Gallaher strikes where no one expects. Elisabeth is willing to do whatever it takes to reclaim her place by the Maestro’s side. Will she succeed? Aided by Denise, Roxane attempts to heal her old wounds.
