Legendary Myths: Raven Adventures' Series

Based on an ancient Haida myth, this episode tells the story of how the sun, moon and stars came to be. Raven proves to be a crafty creature when he steals the light of the world, all while being pursued by his nemesis, who wants to keep the light for himself.

In this story, Raven falls in love and will do anything to win his girl’s heart. The girl’s mother tells him that if he captures Wasgo, a notoriously dangerous sea wolf, he can have her daughter’s hand in marriage. Can Raven save the day?

Raven is hungrier than usual after flying over the ocean to the big island. In this story, he meets new animal friends who try to teach him how to fish. However, he realizes he may have met his match when he tries to steal salmon from the great grizzly bear.

Raven’s adventures take him far and wide. One day, he meets two beavers who are as curious and playful as he is. He notices that the beavers use magic to get salmon, and he wants that magic too. But this time, his greed may be his downfall.

Raven transforms into a man to charm a mysterious woman he encounters on the beach, but he decides he must find out what she looks like and why she always keeps her face covered. Raven learns many life lessons throughout this story of love and heartache.
