Mathain nan Carpathian

In France, a gateway connects two large mountain ranges: the Pyrenees and the Alps. The presence of humans in this territory led to the disappearance of several species, but the corridor has since been restored and rare animals reintroduced.

In Romania, a passage allows bears to transit between the Western and Southern Carpathians. However, this region is undergoing economic development, and human activities have gradually intensified.

At the foot of the Himalayas, between India and Nepal, is the Terai region. Here, Bengal tigers live in numbers. Once considered a threat, they almost went extinct under the blows of hunters, poachers and deforestation.
