After living life among slaves, Nero is reunited with his mother in Rome; his mother helps the young man to become the new emperor, as he undergoes the everyday hardships of life.

Believing his mother to be dead after their separation, Lucius Nero lives his young life among slaves. As Nero grows into his adolescence, he discovers that his mother is alive and reunites with her in Rome. Together, the two devise a plan to make Nero the new Emperor of Rome, but Nero must learn the hardships that come with becoming an emperor, both in his personal life and private life.
