Each hourlong episode begins by testing four cooks' grasp of that week's chain. Three get to create dishes -- judged by diners, whose comments prompt refinements. Two contestants remain and serve to judges Ty, Emeril and the restaurant's reps. The winner's creation appears on the menu the next day.
