Vampire species sign a peace treaty with human beings not to drink human blood and to hide their true identities, so that two species can live in peace.

Jae Min goes to the forest to find Si Hu; he finds Ma Ri playing the flute; Jae Min falls in love with her at first sight, but he is disappointed to find out she is from the untouchable class.

Ma Ri is put in danger because of Won Sang Gu and Jae Min insults Ma Ri by calling her a butcher, a lower being than animals.
