When DS Marcus Farrow is accused of murdering his wife and child, he has no choice but to make an escape and try to clear his name.

Farrow obtains Lomax's phone number from a disc stolen from Sean Devlin and learns crucial information from Hassan's widow. Reinhardt interrupts a meeting between Farrow and Andrea.

Devlin and Andrea race to locate Chambers before Farrow. In his hunt for answers, Farrow confronts Devlin over the identity of Hassan's killer.

Prison officer Dave Murdoch is forced on the run with a young female prisoner when his daughter Lucy is kidnapped. Unaware of the threat against Murdoch, Detective Reinhardt has a new prey in her sights.

After a shocking revelation, Murdoch and Jules are left feeling uncertain of who is holding Lucy. As the pair continue to search for her, the hunt takes them to Jules' hometown of Blackpool where DI Reinhardt has already set up a trap for them.

Murdoch must take on one last mission before Lucy can be freed, but Reinhardt and Iddon are hot on the trail.
