Dry conditions and lower temperatures bring about significant changes to the Everglades. Predator and prey are forced to live in close proximity due to a limited supply of water. Some will thrive-and some will fight to survive.
Warm temperatures and an abundance of food revive the Everglades as water floods the prairies, mangroves, and marshes. Many of the 600 animal species disperse during this time, expanding their hunting and breeding grounds.
