After being wrongfully convicted of murder, Monica has finally been proven innocent. All charges have been dropped and the police have shifted their focus to Simone, their number one person of interest. Monica is eager to get her old life back, starting with her job at the news station... but her reputation has taken a hit, and she's realizing regaining the public's trust and adjusting to life outside of prison may take some time. Meanwhile, Simone has fled the country and is living at convent in Mexico.
