Starting Strong
Young men and women work beside U.S. soldiers to learn about military life. The 10-episode series is a long-form recruitment ad that gives an authentic view of the Army and some of its 150 occupational specialties. Participants work in varied jobs: civil affairs, combat engineering, food service, military police, infantry, air defense and combat medic. After training, they decide whether or not to join the branch. Episodes are filmed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, Fort Bragg in North Carolina; Fort Stewart in Georgia, and Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
