Starting his journey in the Western Islands of the Torres Strait, Aaron drops in on an old friend, Laurie Nona; an accomplished artist in his own right, Laurie manages the Badu Art Center and works to preserve the Kala Lagau Ya language.

Aaron goes back to his roots, visiting the Northern Peninsula Area at the tip of Cape York; among the three Aboriginal and two Torres Strait communities that make up the NPA, Aaron gets a masterclass in fusion cooking from his Uncle Eddie Newman.
