T'choupi à la campagne

T’choupi and his family arrive at the hamlet for their first day of vacation. Having been told by his parents that their stay will be packed with surprises, T’choupi has high expectations! But disappointment sets in fast: not only does he find the dog daunting, he also notices there’s no slide, or TV, or pool! This place is going to be sooo boring!

Dad sends T'choupi and Nina out on a mission: to go to the vegetable garden and find the veggies he needs to make a nice mixed salad. The kids are delighted… until they discover that the tomatoes – the main ingredient for Dad’s salad – are green instead of red. Nina comes up with a solution she heard about from her mom: music! So, the two friends set about playing a “tomato sonato”.

When Fanni accidentally knocks over T'choupi and Nina’s “cushion cabin,” it prompts them to build a real cabin, in the forest, opening up a whole new adventure! However, when they get to the forest, T'choupi grows increasingly scared after spotting a spider! In the end, however, he realizes that the animals of the forest are actually way more nervous than he is!

When T’choupi misses out on going to the market with Fred, Nina decides to cheer him up by suggesting they “sell their wares at the market,” like adults. The friends find some great produce, which they then promptly sell to their parents. Dad would have loved to be able to bake a pie but has no eggs with which to make it. T’choupi and Nina get the idea of asking the hens to lay some eggs for them.

While out on a picnic with T’choupi and his family, plus Nina, Dad chances upon a four-leaf clover! He gifts it to Fanni as a lucky charm. As a result, convinced that he’s having a bad day, T’choupi is now determined to find a four-leaf clover of his own, to turn the tide and enjoy nothing but good fortune for the rest of the day!

The parents are hoping Fanni will take her afternoon nap, but she’s still wide awake, playing with her animal sounds toy. Until it stops working. Oh dear! T’choupi quickly steps in and improvises animal sounds. But when he quickly loses interest, Mom comes up with an idea: they should go and find the nearby animals and listen to their cries, straight from the “horse’s” mouth!
