Simon pulls a caper within his own school, wakes up next to a cop, and has fallen for his dad's fiancee. Turning 27 isn't going quite as he planned.

Simon chills out with pupil Arnie and shares a spliff, but later Arnie is caught with cannabis on him. Now Simon's new cop girlfriend Maggie is coming to the school to talk about drugs.

Simon moves into Kurt and Brian's untidy bachelor pad and, to his amazement, they are even lazier than he is.

Simon gives Cheryl advice on her love life while also worrying about his own: he's in a sexual slump and is intimidated by Maggie's experience.

Sharing Kurt and Brian's flat is too much for Simon, so after list writing he moves in with Maggie. Between this and the flat warming party, Simon and Jenny's friendship becomes less icy.

Susan is under great pressure with the organization of an open evening when she makes a massive decision about her marriage; she is then deeply upset that Simon lets her down and does not support her.
