A rookie paranormal investigator and a skeptical colleague probe alleged acts of supernatural phenomena at a north London home in 1977.

Maurice becomes annoyed when Guy enlists the services of a medium; information is revealed about the nature of the dark entity.

In order to rid themselves of the various investigators disrupting their lives, Janet and Margaret claim that the haunting is a fake before inviting Maurice and Guy back, who attempt to exorcise the spirits from the house for good.
