The Hard Times of RJ Berger orbits the lives of a 15 year-old and his best friend, Miles Jenner. Other than pining after the girl of his dreams, Jenny Swanson, receiving beatings from the school jock, Max Owens, and evading the advances of Lily Miran, there really isn't much excitement in RJ's life, until his gift is exposed to the school.
