The Liar and His Lover

Music addicted teenager Yoon So-rim obsesses over the hit band Crude Play and attends an audition for her own music.

Sorim asks for a date after she meets Hangyeol by saying she crushes on him when he records his music with her phone. Hangyeol tells Sorim to erase the file of his new song, and gives his number to her. Whereas Yuna tells her mind to the agency.

Hangyeol feels a deep emotion when he hears Sorim's perfect singing voice. Sorim cannot hide her depression due to her broken phone. Whereas, Hangyeol remembers Sorim's school uniform and visits her high school to meet her.

Hangyeol's agency asks Hangyeol to produce Sorim's song, and he also makes a contract with her and her band members. Chanyoung tells the agency that he wants to write Sorim's song. Whereas, Yuna hears that Hangyeol writes a song after breakup.

Seo Chanyoung from Crude Play suggests Sorim that he will produce her song. Sorim meets Hangyeol and tells the reason behind her rejection of singing Hangyeol's song, that Hangyeol once says he does not like a singing woman.

Sorim hates that Hangyeol hides his identity as a Crude Play member K. Chanyoung takes care of Sorim; they sing the song together. Whereas Sorim and her band members' parents visit the agency, and they agree to take a level test.
