Xi’an, China is the next stop for the crew, who get to do a little sightseeing in addition to skating. The Silk Road’s main commodity seems to be marble, with a bounty of smooth spots to go crazy on.
Ürümqi in China may not have any wonders of the world, but if you’re a skateboarder the city’s pyramids are tough to beat. The Silky Way crew set to work skating its plazas, despite the cold weather.
The journey wraps up in Kashgar, the oasis city bordering China, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The plazas turn out to be staple spots and Daniel Pannemann lands the biggest backside 180 of the tour.
