S1, E3: The investigator duo Pia Kirchhoff and Oliver von Bodenstein of the Hofheim CID are faced with a new murder case. A human hand was found in the Kronberg "Opel Zoo". More body parts keep turning up until the rest of the corpse is found a little later. Zoo director, Dr. Christoph Sander, knows the dead man: it is the high school teacher, Hans-Ulrich Pauly, who dedicated his free time to animal and nature conservation and had therefore clashed with Sander many times in the past. The investigation reveals that Pauly, who was apparently beaten to death with a horseshoe, had many enemies: apart from Sander, Pauly was at loggerheads with a number of other people.
