After major seismic events occur all over globe, scientist K.C. Czaban (Stephanie Niznik) and soldier Mason Rand (David Keith) are recruited to look into the cause of the disaster-triggering phenomenon. Deep within the Himalayas, Czaban and Rand find an alien monolith with remarkable abilities, including creating and ending life with incredible speed, and they must determine how to contend with its strange and powerful presence before the world is destroyed.
