Wild Flowers

Residing in Quebec with her spouse, Pierre (Pierre Curzi), and their two kids, Simone Dubuc (Marthe Nadeau) lives a mundane, if pleasant, existence. For one week each year, Simone's mother (Michèle Magny) pays the family a visit. Part of the annual tradition includes Simone giving her mom wildflowers, with mother and daughter making small talk and generally avoiding discussions about subjects of any real importance. Will the mother and daughter ever connect more openly and emotionally?
