Anthony Costello

Anthony Costello was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Costello began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the western "Blue" (1968) with Terence Stamp, the western "Will Penny" (1968) with Charlton Heston and the Richard Harris dramatic period piece "The Molly Maguires" (1970). He also appeared in "Doctors' Wives" (1971) with Dyan Cannon. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Mr. and Mrs. Cop" (CBS, 1973-74) and "The Ambassador" (CBS, 1974-75). Additionally, he later acted in the action flick "The Laughing Policeman" (1973) with Walter Matthau. He also appeared in the crime picture "Night Moves" (1975) with Gene Hackman. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Arthur Hailey's "Wheels"" (1977-78). Costello last appeared in "Evening in Byzantium" (1977-78). Costello passed away in August 1983 at the age of 45.
