Mike takes an embarrassing fall at the quarry and has to deal with even more embarrassment when OSHA is called in to investigate. Sue attempts to convince Axl to end his estrangement with the family after learning their true feelings about April.

Jessica thinks school must be too easy for the boys and gives them extra homework; Louis tries to get Jessica to ease up on her strict approach.

Frankie gets Mike to go see the dentist about his toothache, and the two collude to convince her that there's nothing wrong with his teeth; Axl, Hutch and Kenny decide to sell the Winnebago; Brick works on writing a historical musical.

After Axl runs into several ex-girlfriends at a St. Patrick's Day party, Hutch suggests it's a sign and advises Axl to talk to a few of them to figure out his love life; Mike and Frankie don't share Brick's excitement over his new microfiche machine.

A bar mitzvah causes Brick to question when he will become a man; Sue is a bit too enthusiastic when she tries to be flirtatious; Axl and Hutch find a new home.
