A woman believes her entire marriage has been a lie after finding an old photograph. Not long after, her husband goes missing, and she is determined to find him.

Determined to find her husband, Eva visits Bastien's estranged family to see if they might recognise anyone in the photo. They don't, but Bastien's sister tells her that Bastien has deliberately disappeared before.

Eva begins to identify the other people in the photograph with her husband. She still has many questions about the secrets surrounding them.

The kidnapper makes threats against the safety of the children, as Eva comes closer to solving the mystery. Despite this, she continues to press the police. Bastien tries desperately to find and protect his family.
