Laura Santos returns to her parents’ enchanting hotel in Barcelona hoping she and her son can make a fresh start, unaware that unresolved issues still simmer behind the hotel’s idyllic facade. Shortly after their arrival an old family conflict resurfaces when hotel manager Isabel accuses Laura of selfishly pursuing her own dreams instead of working to secure the hotel’s future. While Laura attempts to reconnect to the past and the reasons which drove her from the family business in the first place, she must navigate a path through her family’s current complex and strained network of relationships.

After a romantic night together, Laura and Mateo realize the depth of their emotional connection. Pedro, meanwhile, has made the life-changing decision to go live with his father in Madrid. An already devastated Laura goes on to discover drugs hidden in her son's chef’s uniform.
