Baris (Ozan Biler) is a toddler who lives in prison with his mother. Baris is guilty of no crime, but the Turkish justice system decrees that if a woman is sentenced to prison, her children must accompany her. When Inci (Nur Sürer), a woman serving time as a political prisoner, meets little Baris, she develops a friendship with him and discovers that his creative spirit is contagious. Inci and her new friend play games and gaze at the sky together, where they see kites and birds flying free.
