Alec Mapa

Alec Mapa is widely known for his acting on the big screen. He had a part on the television special "Supermom's Daughter" (ABC, 1986-87). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "The Cosby Show" (NBC, 1984-1992) and "Melrose Place" (Fox, 1991-98). Following that project, he appeared in the Tony Goldwyn dramatic adaptation "The Substance of Fire" (1996), "Playing By Heart" (1998) with Gillian Anderson and the comedy "Connie and Carla" (2004) with Nia Vardalos. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Spy Game" (ABC, 1996-97). More recently, he tackled roles in the Adam Sandler hit action comedy "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (2008), the Alexandra Paul comedic drama "Tru Loved" (2008) and the Owen Wilson smash hit dramatic adaptation "Marley & Me" (2008). He also appeared in the Casper Andreas dramatic adaptation "Going Down in LA-LA Land" (2012). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Dance Moms" (Lifetime, 2010-15). Mapa most recently appeared on "Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy" (2015).
