Deal with the Devil
Despite a generous offer from Inspector John Jarvis, Oliver’s not interested in extending his contract as Acting Staff Sergeant. Just knowing he’s about to get back in a blue shirt has put a spring in his step. But Oliver’s day takes a serious turn for the worse when he learns that Professional Standards is arriving today for Duncan Moore’s dismissal hearing. The hearing was supposed to be happening two weeks from now, and Andy hasn’t had any chance to prepare. Oliver and Andy do some crash-course prep; but both are rendered speechless when Duncan drops a brand-new bomb. He’s got incriminating new evidence against Andy. Feeling cornered, Oliver finds himself making the exact kind of professional deal he never thought he would be capable of making.
