Daisy Jones is a disaffected teenager amid the Sunset Strip rock scene; Billy Dunne and his brother form a band with friends, desperate to escape the suburbs; when Billy meets Daisy, her talent and his ambition will change their lives.

Daisy navigates the Los Angeles music scene with the guidance of her close friend Simone and producer Teddy Price; with keyboardist Karen Sirko, the Dunne Brothers band experience their own challenges trying to make it.

A newly-sober Billy balances music with his familial responsibility while the band picks up the pieces in the wake of a disastrous tour; Daisy finds it far more difficult to write music when there are expectations.
