Paul realizes how little he knows about handling details of day-to-day life when Jamie goes out of town and he mistakenly donates their bed to a charity thrift store.

Jamie thinks Paul has arranged a surprise party for her 30th birthday, but in fact he has something different planned. It all goes wrong when they are accidentally separated on a crowded subway car en route to the surprise.
