Producer who worked with both Frank Yablans ("Mommie Dearest" 1981, "The Star Chamber" 1983) and Peter Hyams ("2010" 1984, "Running Scared" 1986) in associate and technical capacities. Zimbert later assumed the responsibilities of producer and executive producer ("The Presidio" 1988, "The Narrow Margin" 1990) and in 1991 was appointed vice president for production at Morgan Creek Productions.
