Kate Beaton

Kate Beaton is a famed cartoonist known for her witty, historical, and literary reinventions in the web comic "Hark! A Vagrant." After studying history and anthropology at Mount Allison University, she launched the comic in 2007, earning a swift following for her simple style and clever portrayals. Beaton also wrote the children's book "The Princess and the Pony" and more recently has written and produced the animated digital series, "Pinecone & Pony" (Apple TV, 2022-23).
