Kirsten Baker

Actress Kirsten Baker's model looks propelled her decade-long career. Baker's first acting was in a 1978 episode of the critically acclaimed teenage drama "James at 16" as Christina Kollberg, an exchange student from Sweden to whom the title character loses his virginity. Similar sexpot roles followed in two raunchy 1979 comedies. In the grindouse film "Gas Pump Girls," Baker saves her uncle's struggling gas station by using her and her friends' feminine charms, while in the similarly flesh-heavy "Teen Lust" she's one of a group of teenagers who get more than they bargain for when they volunteer to work with the police vice squad. During this time, she also worked as a print model for the low-budget exploitation film company Cannon Films. In 1981, she was cast in her best-remembered film, the horror sequel "Friday the 13th Part 2." Baker played Terry, a camp counselor who runs afoul of the murderous Jason Voorhees in between copious nude scenes. After several more films, she made her last movie appearance in the 1987 prison drama "Weeds" before turning her attention to full-time modeling. By 1993 Baker had retreated from that profession as well, falling off "Friday" fans' radar entirely, but re-emerged at a 2010 convention for genre fans.
