Prolific American actor Robert Curtis Brown rarely gets starring roles but has over 100 credits to his name. A graduate of Yale's School of Drama, he had his first film role in the 1983 comedy "Trading Places," followed by a role in the Robert Redford romantic comedy "Legal Eagles" in 1986. He made two appearances on the comedy "Herman's Head" in the early 1990s and had a longer stint on the mystery show "Matlock" as assistant district attorney Gilman. He had a supporting role in the 1995 film "Angus," a comedic drama about a portly high-school teenager co-starring Kathy Bates. In 1998 he had a recurring role on the youth drama "Beverly Hills, 90210" and on the big screen appeared in the mystery "Red Dragon" and the action film "Catch Me If You Can" in 2002. Another supporting role came in the 2005 romantic comedy "Guess Who," and Brown was also seen in "High School Musical 2" and the blockbuster sequel "Spider-Man 3." In 2010, he had recurring roles in the soap "All My Children" and the half-hour drama "Look," as Dan the Weatherman.
