Fausto Tozzi

Fausto Tozzi was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Tozzi kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the historical film "House of Ricordi" (1955) with Rolande Alexandre, the biographical drama "El Cid" (1961) with Charlton Heston and the Gert Fröbe drama "Im Stahlnetz des Dr Mabuse" (1961). He also appeared in the Ingrid Bergman dramatic adaptation "The Visit" (1964) and "The Agony and the Ecstasy" (1965) with Charlton Heston. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Jeanne Moreau dramatic adaptation "The Sailor From Gibraltar" (1967), the Omar Sharif drama "The Appointment" (1968) and "Grazia Ricevuta, Per" (1971). He also appeared in the western "La Spina Dorsale del Diavola" (1971) with Bekim Fehmiu. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Charles Bronson crime flick "Valachi Papers" (1972), "Crazy Joe" (1973) and the drama "Valdez il Mezzosangue" (1973) with Charles Bronson. He also appeared in "Street People" (1976). Tozzi more recently acted in the Kelly Reno dramatic adventure "The Black Stallion" (1980).
