When your dreams are hunted by your nightmares. A group of teenagers decides to go on a trip to Via Transilvanica where they find a ghost named Katharina. They decide to take her back in town and integrate her into our modern society — but there’s a catch: Katharina is a curious ghost. She was Vlad the Impaler’s mistress, and she likes the idea of integrating into the new world, but that’s until the teenagers realise they might have made a mistake. Katharina was filmed in Bistrita and Bârgău, and is one of the very few, if not the only Horror-Fantasy-Teenagers-Comedy movie, filmed in Transilvania in the actual place where Bram Stocker started his Dracula journey and the book of Dracula. Katharina film was produced by Bistrita Film Studio and was made with the help of the students from the acting school.
