Sex Is Comedy

Sex Is Comedy, the latest film from controversial, groundbreaking French director Catherine Breillat, takes us into the world of Jeanne (Anne Parillaud), a director struggling with a difficult sex scene between a young actor and actress who can't stand one another. Aided by her loyal assistant Leo (Ashley Wanninger), Jeanne is hell-bent on getting the scene right without compromise. Inspired by Breillat's own experience, Sex Is Comedy explores the mystery and humor of social manipulations, sex and power within the confines of a feature-film set.
